David Allyn Dokich - Serial Child Rapist / High Risk Sex Offender

OFFICIAL PUBLIC STATEMENT

by Joe Pasquale - public safety activist

COMMUNITIES OF PHELAN, NORCO, MEAD VALLEY, AND ALL THE COMMUNITIES OF THE HIGH DESERT

Almost two years ago, the state of California, through the state agency known as the Department of Developmental Services, attempted the placement of sexual predators into a small rural town of Phelan. This placement by the state of 3 convicted child molesters into a community rich with children was absolutely insane and placed the surrounding community at risk. Over 3,000 people attended a meeting in the Serrano High School gymnasium to show their support and opposition to these insane placements.

This mishandled placement drew national attention to the phenomenon of where and how the state places sexual predators. Again in May of 2005, the state struck again through the agency known as the California Department of Parole Corrections and Rehabilitation. They decided Mead Valley was the best place for twice convicted child molester David Allyn Dokich, who at the end of his second trial vowed to kill his next victim so they could not testify. Mead Valley, also rich with children protested his placement for the last 8 months.

Dokich was recently re-arrested for parole violations and will do another year in prison thanks to the Riverside Sheriff’s Dept. not the Parole Department who was too busy trying to prosecute the lead protester and Blog Master of the Dokich website for exercising his first amendment right to free speech.

The state of California and it’s agencies that place sexual predators have shown time and time again that they do not care where these placements are made as long as they are not in their neighborhood. They have showed no remorse nor apologized to the communities they tore apart as a result of their placement decisions. These agencies in order to get these predators placed will manipulate the media, lie, deceive, misinform, and even fabricate evidence to discredit the neighbors ensuring that there is not significant opposition to these placements.

We the people of Phelan, Norco, Mead Valley, and all the High Desert are here today attempting to change the laws on sexual predators. Thanks to Assemblyman Todd Spitzer we now have Megan’s Law access via the internet which has become such an invaluable tool to help protect our children, but that is not enough.

Our elected officials so far have refused to pass legislation that would protect the most vulnerable asset of society – our children. The majority of bills that were submitted to protect children were knocked down by the Public Safety Committee, and we firmly believe that 3 members, Mark Leno, Jackie Goldberg, and Mr. Dymally need be removed from their positions.

Not a day goes by without multiple stories in the news about crimes against children. Most recently a teacher from Barstow, the priests of the Catholic church, or the 51 child predators who surfed the internet, got caught in a sting operation, and arrived at a home in Mira Loma under the pretense that they were going to have sex with children. That show airs on NBC Dateline February 3rd.

The state of California has serious flaws in it’s system in relation to incarceration, sentencing, and placements of sexual predators upon release. The passage of Jessica’s Law, which is eminent, will send a strong message to the powers in Sacramento that if you don’t represent your constituents wishes we WILL GO AROUND YOU.

We wish to express our gratitude to the following officials for their relentless efforts in supporting the cause:

Assemblywoman Sharon Runner

Senator George Runner

Assemblyman Todd Spitzer

Assemblyman John Benoit

Assemblyman Russ Bogh

Riverside County Board of Supervisors

A special thank you to Barb Stanton of Talk 960am a Clear Channel station for providing endless airtime on this important issue.

Jessica's Law petition drive sees incredible success

Assemblywoman Sharon Runner with Julie Waltz and Kim Pasquale - click to enlargeOn Friday and Saturday, volunteers spread out in the communities of Victorville, Hesperia and Corona gathering signatures to get Jessica's Law on the November ballot.

Jessica's Law supporters in Corona, Joe Pasquale is on the left - click to enlargeToday in Corona the weather was more friendly. The signature gathering was almost surreal. People would jump out of their cars and say "Is that for Jessica's Law? I want to sign it". I have never seen anything like it. Usually getting people to sign a petition is like pulling teeth, but not this time, not with Jessica's Law. Some people actually drove to the shopping center simply to sign the petition. It was truly amazing.

Assemblyman John Benoit with your friendly neighborhood protester - click to enlargeA lot of the credit has to go to Assemblyman John Benoit. He mailed thousands of flyers out to people in the area. That's how they knew where to come. Assemblyman Benoit also put his money where his mouth is and donated $10,000 to the Jessica's Law campaign. Fantastic!

Assemblywoman Sharon Runner, who sponsored the initiative with her husband Senator George Runner, told the Victorville Daily Press yesterday "It's frustrating getting any bills dealing with sexual offenders though the safety committes dealing with harsher penalties".

Assemblywoman Runner is right. Fortunately, when Jessica's Law is on the ballot, we will take the safety of the children of California into our own hands and out of the hands of those who do not care in Sacramento.

David Goldstein is on scene when a child predator is busted

David GoldsteinDavid Goldstein from CBS 2 news was on the scene when authorities arrested registered sex offender Thomas Michael Benhoff for failing to register his proper address.
Thomas Benhoff busted
Brea police had caught him back in October exposing himself in a park and peeking over bathroom stalls at kids. He was out on a half million dollars bail.
Park bathroom stalls
Thomas Benhoff - registered sex offenderSince then authorities have been watching him. Last weekend the Department of Justice video taped him hanging out by the bathrooms of Bluff Park in Long Beach. He went into the bathroom 17 times and changed his clothes 6 times. All the time little kids were coming and going. Does a normal person do this? Of course not.

In his car they found a viagra bottle, binoculars and porn.

After he was arrested he started whining that because he has a past they keep charging him with things.

Well you child predators need to wrap your puny brains around the fact that things are changing. The days of you boinking little kids and you getting second and third and forth chances are quickly coming to an end.

Brea PD and the Department of Justice did a great job taking this child predator off the streets.

Indio man arrested again for child molestation

On January 23rd of this year Riverside County Sheriff's Investigators arrested 40 year old Scott Drew Johnson of Indio after a month long investigation on child molestation allegations.

Johnson was out on bail when investigators arrested him yet again today on new charges involving sexual intercourse with a minor. This is a different victim from his first arrest.

New video - Parole Supervisor Lisa Abma is a loser

Lisa, I figured I would save you from embarrassing yourself again, from perjuring yourself again, by showing you this video before you can falsely claim that something happened after you lost the court case on January 18th.

Enjoy.

BREAKING NEWS: Dokich returning to prison for 1 year

Sources have told me today that High Risk Sex Offender David Allyn Dokich has admitted to violating the terms of his parole.

The penalty for this is 1 year in state prison.

Dokich had a hearing scheduled for February 8th. This hearing would be to determine if he did in fact violate the terms of his parole.

He was recently offered a 1 year deal, which is the maximum penalty for violating parole. Therefore the hearing is no longer necessary and Dokich will be off the streets for another year.

Wacky Vermont judge changes his mind

Bill O'ReillyBack on January 12th I wrote about a judge that gave a child molester just 60 days in jail.

Mark Hurlett, 34, was convicted of molesting a 6 year old girl for 4 years. 4 years!

Well Judge Edward Cashman has gotten the message and changed the sentence 3-10 years.

Bill O'Reilly of Fox News deserves a ton of credit for being the driving force behind getting this little girl a little bit of justice.

State corrections officer arrested for child molestation

Tonight a state corrections officer is in jail, on the other side of the law. Police believe he was molesting a teenager in Palm Desert. NewsChannel 3 talked with neighbors at his apartment complex on Country Club Drive.

Excelsdeo Felicidario is a state corrections officer who's now in the Indio jail after allegedly molesting a girl under 16 years old.

Police arrested him in his home here at the Sevilla apartments. The apartment complex on Country Club Drive in Palm Desert is just a few blocks from several schools including Carter Elementary. Maggie Segura lives in the same apartment complex, and her 6-year-old daughter Madeline goes to Carter Elementary School.

"I think that's horrible, I think they need to be arrested, and I feel so concerned about my daughter, and he was right here. It's very shocking.

My Case Report

Well here it is. This is the court record of what happened when parole supervisor Lisa Abma tried to shut me up by taking me to court.

It is a matter of public record so I figure I would save you all the trouble of looking it up.

This is what people in parole do when you protest.

Fortunately it did not work.

Update: Jessica's Law ballot drive

Assemblyman John BenoitJonathan Sassani from assemblyman John Benoit's office called me today to let me know there will be a signature drive this coming Saturday.

It will be between 1 and 4 pm at the Crossings at Corona shopping center. This is located at the 15 freeway and Cajalco.

Some of us will be going to the Crossings at Corona. Come on by and meet your fearless blogger. If you are with parole you can come by and accuse me of something new, since your last tactic did not work. Losers.

The Runners where on KFI with John and Ken today. Here are the latest numbers:

  • They need 550,000 signatures
  • They have 400,000 signatures
  • They are collecting about 10,000 signatures a day

All the signatures need to be in by Feb. 10th.

Let's make this happen and make California a safer place for children.

Costa Mesa Man Arrested For Sexual Chats With Teen

A Costa Mesa man is facing felony charges for allegedly having sexually-charged conversations with a 14-year-old girl he met in an Internet chat room, authorities said.

Steven Edward Riddle, 56, is charged with committing a lewd act with a child of 14 or 15, using an underage person in an obscene manner and attempting a lewd act on a child.

Riddle pleaded innocent to the charges Monday, according to a court clerk. His next court date is Jan. 31.

Riddle was arrested about 8 p.m. last Thursday at a Holiday Inn in San Clemente, where he allegedly believed he was going to meet the girl with whom he had been communicating since November, Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Armomino said.

Edward Anthony Rodrigue release worries victims

Edward Anthony RodrigueEX-PRIEST: Two men ask that dioceses issue warnings about Edward Anthony Rodrigue.

11:30 PM PST on Tuesday, January 24, 2006

By MICHAEL FISHER / The Press-Enterprise

A former Inland priest accused in lawsuits of molesting at least 19 altar boys is due to be released from prison today, raising the concerns of two accusers and prompting a national victims' group to ask two Southern California bishops to warn their flocks.

Where the 69-year-old Edward Anthony Rodrigue will live remains in flux. The twice-convicted child molester was to move into a downtown San Bernardino halfway house, but the group home has no vacancies, said his brother, Tom Rodrigue.

Parole officials have arranged for Rodrigue to live at an undisclosed San Bernardino motel instead, his brother said.

Tom Rodrigue, who worries that his brother will abuse again, said parole agents intend to fit the former priest with an ankle bracelet equipped with a GPS device to monitor his movements. Edward Rodrigue will also begin therapy, something that wasn't available in prison, Tom Rodrigue said.

Edward Rodrigue's release worries Jacob and Pat Olivas, brothers who are suing the Diocese of San Diego, claiming Rodrigue molested them in the late 1970s when they attended St. George Catholic Church in Ontario. The San Diego Diocese managed Inland parishes until 1978.

"It's not forgive and forget. I forgive, but it's never going to be forget," said Jacob Olivas, 36, adding that he holds no ill will toward Rodrigue. "I can't really blame him for what he did. It's like blaming someone who has schizophrenia for doing something that they can't control."

Pat Olivas said Rodrigue poses a threat to children.

Click here to read the complete article.

So it looks like those knuckleheads in parole are intentionally hiding this serial child molester. People in San Bernadino need to know where he is so they can take precautions.

PE Opinion: Thwarting Predators

As the Legislature plays political games with bills aimed at cracking down on high-risk sex offenders, citizens are taking action. A petition is circulating to put before the voters a law legislators adamantly refuse to pass.

If voters approve, the initiative will increase sentences for a wide range of sexual offenses, require lifetime satellite monitoring of paroled high-risk predators, and ban registered offenders from living within 2,000 feet of a school or park.

Here is what readers can do to sign the petition and support the measure.

Visit the Web site of Southern Californians for Jessica's Law ( www.jessicaslaw.com) or call (858) 456-7445 and request a petition. Backers need about 375,000 signatures by the end of February to get the measure on November's ballot.

Jessica's Law is named after Jessica Lunsford, a 9-year-old Florida girl who was kidnapped, raped and buried alive in February by a known sexual predator wanted for multiple parole violations.

We'd guess that most Californians are unwilling to put themselves or their children at risk by giving known sexual predators the benefit of a political stalemate. Whether passed by the people's elected representatives or by the people themselves, California needs Jessica's Law.

Hey perverts, you are being watched by Perverted-Justice.com

Everyone needs to know what a fine job the good folks over at Perverted-Justice are doing.

As they say, "As long as our children are not safe from predators...predators aren't safe from us!"

What is it they do? Well, to put it simply, they hang out in online chat rooms and pretend to be minors.

It usually does not take long before an online predator strikes up a conversation. The Perverted-Justice people then expose them. Sometimes they even help law enforcement arrest them. Fantastic!

They also keep logs of all these conversations and make them available for the public.

Everone needs to read one of these logs to see what is happening in these chat rooms, chat rooms your own children may be visiting.

Below is a link to one of the logs. It is very long but worth the read. You will see for yourself how these online predators work.

WARNING

The farther along it goes the more graphic it gets. But people need to see how these online predators operate.

High School teacher caught in predator sting operation

Walter Edward BabstBack on January 14th I wrote about the sting operation conducted between perverted-justice.com, Dateline NBC and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

During the 3 days they caught 50 creeps, perverts, guys apparently wanting to have sex with what they thought was a 14 year old girl.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and the LA Times, one of the people caught was Walter Babst.

What does Walter do for a living? He is a a teacher at Bonita High School in La Verne.

He has since been removed from the staff page.

A look at the page saved on Google from Dec. 10th 2005 shows him though.

The good news is he was caught. The bad news is according to the Daily Bulletin he was able to go back to work, at Bonita High School, for a week before school officials were notified.
